Arkkitehtuurikilpailun tavoitteena oli löytää rakennustaiteellisesti korkeatasoinen ratkaisu, jolla kaupungintalon palo- ja poistumisturvallisuutta parannetaan, rakennuksen suojeluarvot ja ominaispiirteet huomioiden. Viiden ehdotuksen kautta esiteltiin erilaisia mahdollisuuksia.

A modernist building from the 30’s needed a refurbishment to meet the current fire escape regulations. The goal of the competition was to find appropriate exit route solutions that were sensitive to the protected built heritage. We had five different solutions exhibiting different possibilities.
